DIVISIONS:
1. YOUTH DIVISION: AGES 12 AND UNDER
2. JUNIOR DIVISION: AGES 13 TO 17 YEARS
3. AMATEUR DIVISION: Beginner and novice category. This competitor does not accept money for their work.
4. OPEN DIVISION: This competitor is a professional taxidermist who charges for their work.
5. MASTERS DIVISION: This competitor has a desire to compete at the highest level.

CATEGORIES:
1. Fish (skin). Artificial head and fins accepted in all divisions. Masters must mold and cast these items.
2. Waterfowl-ducks and geese
3. Upland Birds-quail, pheasant, grouse, chucker and prairie chickens.
4. Turkeys
5. Whitetail Deer Shoulder Mount. Closed Mouth includes ½ life size
6. Whitetail Deer Shoulder Mount Open Mount includes ½ life size
7. Game head Closed Mouth includes ½ Life size.
8. Game head Open mouth includes ½ life size
9. Small Lifesize Mammal-coyote and smaller closed mouth
10. Small Lifesize Mammal-coyote and smaller open mouth
11. Reptiles-original skin mounts. Includes all snakes, lizards and frogs.
12. Reproduction Fish- Open Division can use a purchased blank and eye. Masters must mold and cast all parts and paint the eyes.
13. Reproduction Reptile (snakes, frogs, and lizards) same rules as Reproduction Fish with the exception of the eyes. Masters may use artificial reptile eyes.
14. Collective Artist – Any four mounts with the highest combined score. Can be all of the same or mixed species. Minimum individual score of each mount must be 80.
15. All Around Artist– Any four mounts with the highest combined score. All mounts MUST be different species with a minimum score of 80 for each mount.
16. Collective Artist-Entry completed by more than one person. Must be entered in the class that the highest competitor competes in.
17. Original Art- This will include all forms of art work and will be judged by designated UTA Board Directors.
